Our Team
We have some wonderful people helping us operate the Kansas Riverkings Museum. Our three volunteer interns have a heart and passion for history and community.
Barbara Higgins-Dover
Barbara is the curator of the Riverkings Museum and a descendent of a Riverking. She has a Master's of Science degree in Curriculum from the University of Kansas and a Bachelor's in Psychology.
Joyce Higgins
Joyce is a lifelong resident of Lawrence and a lover of history. She owns and operates her own business and blogs about everyday adventures on her small acreage property where she grows produce for the community.
Ali Dover
Ali Dover, is a graduate of the University of Kansas. She is a graphic design and photo media major. Ali works on still photography, graphics, and displays for the museum.
